LUSC Ladies’ Social Golf Club News

02 May 2017

A big day 'There she goes King, Queen Ace .  I can breathe again now' A tense moment for the Cally Queen. Fortified by cottage pie, they played on till The Hippy scooped the pool. In the green, in Division 1, Colleen Green has another contender for her 'I cant play golf' crown, tba. Colleen won with a good 33 nett, followed by Jenny Stapleton with 36 on a countback . Marlene won the gross with 51, and funnily enough, also won the putting with 16. In division 2, Robyn King came back in the running with 33 nett, with Mary Brown battling it out for runner up from Helen Anderson, both on 34 nett. Anne White won the gross with 67, but the big upset was in the putting with Terry Fisk sinking an omg 14. More than happy to be back, Sharon Meixner won the Monthly Mug. All eyes will be on Penny Pepper next week to see if her shoe continues to talk to her. Eccentricity is good
